Client Programs

The Learning Center offers a variety of client therapy services for both individuals and families. A group of like-minded providers with various fields of expertise have come together at the Learning Center to offer a variety of services in one location. The following is a list of those services we are working to bring to the Center. To learn more about the Client Programs call 608-822-3015.

The Learing Center

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

ABA therapy is used to increase language and communication skills. It is also used to improve attention, focus, social skills, memory, and academics. ABA can be used to help decrease problem behaviors.

Floor Time Sensory OT/PT

In order for a child to make progress in daily life skills, they must be regulated in their sensory and emotional systems, and be enticed to learn. OT's prioritize creating a positive relationship with the child, which enhances their ability to learn and succeed. As a result, the children they work with improve their regulation, engagement, communication, and the targeted skills.

Speech Therapy

The Learning Center is partnering with Speech and Language Connections LLC to offer services locally. Speech and Language Connections LLC has 15 years of experience providing therapy in the following areas: Autism, Apraxia, Alternative Augmentative Communication, Down Syndrome, early intervention and social language therapies. Levels of services offered will be determined by interest of the community. To schedule a no commitment 15-minute complimentary consult with our Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), please contact us at 608-822-3015.

Speech therapy for those on the spectrum works to encompass not only the mechanics of speech, but the social engagement of it as well. We look to offer Therapies in Receptive and expressive language, Auditory Processing, Social and fluency development, as well as Apraxia and assistive technology communication.

Music Therapy

Music therapy is used to support emotional, cognitive and social development in many populations. Music therapy may help to promote wellness by managing stress, enhancing memory, and improving communication.

Yoga

A combination of breathing strategies and yoga poses can support children with ASD not only in reducing anxiety, which can directly impact mood and behavior, but can also support children with ASD in developing self-regulation and coping skills.

Therapeutic Art

Art channels autistic behaviors into an expressive, creative outlet. It promotes communication, emotional growth and sensory integration while also fostering social interaction in a fun setting.

Behavior Health

Providing Behavior Health therapies in a sensory safe and more kid friendly environment, the goal is to obtain better treatment sessions in less time.

Transition to Adulthood

These services will be tailored to the life goals set by the clients support team, with the encouragement of local businesses to become part of the team.

Navigating The Autism Diagnosis

This is a one on one program bringing together caregivers and agencies who would have services to offer the client.

RACE! Running with Autism in the Community and Everywhere!

The Learning Center is excited to partner with ACT to offer the RACE Program. People with cognitive disabilities can learn to run short and long distances through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the use of visual schedules. With the personal success of running, people with cognitive disabilities can have healthier bodies, healthier minds and be more included in their communities through community runs, running groups and the school sports of track and cross country. Running can also be meditative and peaceful. It can alleviate some behavioral stresses.
