Aiming for Acceptance
Aiming for Acceptance is a non-profit organization started by a group of rural community members wanting to help establish therapies, services, and support to those living with or serving those either on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) or with Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD) in rural southwest Wisconsin. Harnessing Abilities Transition Summit 2022
The event will take place in the Prairie du Chien H.S. Performing Arts Center August 23, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Who should attend: Employees and their Supporters, Businesses/Employers, Educators, Supportive Agencies, and those wishing to be inclusive for all community members.

Our Mission
Our mission is to raise awareness, increase acceptance, and provide support and training for local families, schools, and other organizations in their efforts to assist the Autism Community.
Who We Are
We are working to establish therapies, services, and support to the Autism & Sensory Processing Disorder Communities in rural areas, that lack such support.
The Need
There is a critical need for a Learning Center here in Southwest Wisconsin that can provide education, acceptance, therapy programs and more.
I have seen the need for increased services for those who are on the Autism Spectrum and those with Sensory Processing Disorder in rural, Southwest Wisconsin. The Aiming for Acceptance Community Center will be a positive benefit for the citizens of our region.
The mission and plans of Aiming for Acceptance will go a long way toward building necessary capacity to meet the needs of individuals affected by autism in Fennimore and potentially other rural communities.
As the State Senator for the 17th Senate District, I am impressed by the hard work and commitment that the A4A team has demonstrated to creatively meet the needs of rural families with the best resources available in our state.
Mission of the Learning Center is to bring quality of life services, therapies, and informational
resources to the special needs communities of southwest Wisconsin.
Therapy
Sensory safe environment for therapy based on individual needs, family input and industry proven results.
Training & Workshops
For families, police, first responders, communities, school district employees and businesses.
Services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) type programming and Floor Time Sensory OT/PT and other therapy.
